Primary Scripture
“Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.” — Philippians 3:13
Supporting Scriptures
Isaiah 43:18; Luke 9:62
Devotional Reflection
There are moments when holding on feels faithful, but it is actually fear wearing spiritual language. The Apostle Paul understood that progress sometimes requires release—not because the past was bad, but because it is finished.
God does not heal us by dragging us backward. Healing comes when we stop rehearsing what was and start responding to what is.
What you hold too tightly can quietly delay the freedom God is trying to give you.
Application
What might God be asking you to release so healing can move forward?
Prayer
“Lord, help me loosen my grip on what is behind me so I can walk freely into what You are doing now.”
